Gypsum Boards and Plasterboards

Gypsum Boards and Plasterboards are the most commonly used way to enable practical space division in offices, apartments, hotels and other types of constructions.

They are as well a primary means for suspended decorative ceiling solutions in all types of areas and usages.

All offered types and systems of partition and ceiling gypsum boards are compliant with the American and British standards.

They come in the following types:

Regular Gypsum Board

The Standard plasterboard consists of a ventilated gypsum core encased in ultra-solid paper liners.

It is mostly suitable for dry internal areas and surfaces, and where normal fire, structural and acoustic levels are specified. It is specifically designed to achieve the desired interior design intent.

It comes in 9mm, 12.5mm, and 15mm thick, 1200mm wide, and lengths of 2400mm or 3000mm.

Moisture Resistant Board

The Moisture Resistant board consists of a ventilated gypsum core with added water repellents encased in strong Moisture Resistant paper liners, to help maintain the integrity of the board for longer time periods than standard boards, when exposed to moisture.

It is suitable for wet use areas, such as bathrooms, kitchens, as well as external sheltered areas.

It comes in 12.5mm and 15mm thick, 1200mm wide, and lengths of 2400mm or 3000mm.

Mold Resistant Board

The Mold Resistant board consists of a ventilated gypsum core with added decay, rust and fungus repellents encased in strong paper liners, to help maintain the integrity of the board for longer time periods than standard boards, when exposed to decaying factors.

It is suitable for wet use areas, such as bathrooms, kitchens, as well as external sheltered areas.

It comes in 12.5mm and 15mm thick, 1200mm wide, and lengths of 2400mm or 3000mm.

Fire Resistant Board

The Fire Resistant board consists of a ventilated gypsum core with glass fiber and other additives, encased in and bonded to strong paper liners, to help maintain the integrity of the board for longer time periods than standard boards, when exposed to fire.

It can be used in partition, ceiling and shaft wall systems to offer superior fire protection performance.

It comes in 12.5mm and 15mm thick, 1200mm wide, and lengths of 2400mm or 3000mm.

High Impact Resistant Board

The High Impact Resistant board consists of a high density core with glass fiber and other additives, encased in and bonded to strong paper liners.

It is designed for use to give greater impact resistance in heavy use areas.

It comes in 15mm thick, 1200mm wide, and lengths of 2400mm or 3000mm.
